I recently fell head over heels with curated content. It’s the way to go for any business owner on-the-go who needs and wants to share their insights. It’s been around for a while but it’s now the stylish way to communicate with busy people you want to influence.
A few who are doing it well:
The Hustle – It’s a “daily” email for entrepreneurs that summarizes the most important news of the day.
Brain Pickings – This isn’t your average curated content with short bites of information. This is a thoroughly researched, well-thought-out tome from a unique mind.
The Skimm – It’s a catchy Monday through Friday curated newsletter that covers the news of the day with a pithy twist, minimal ads, and a lot of requests to share the newsletter with others.
I’ve created these for a few of my clients and it does require a system. But it’s fun to come up with this information. With a savvy assistant, clear rules and a decent structure, you too can come up with your very own curated content email and wow recipients.
